What is it a Victory for?

My Father Nikon /Nikolay/ Burtayev walked over the World War 2, like a man, by not killing..

He went through the surrounding at the Kiev with Red Army, terrible 2 years Concentration German Camp,  Escape of that Camp, one year of the Belorussian Partizans, and finally re-connection with Red Army.

He got a Kenigsberg / Kaliningrad/.

He was lucky and never wounded on the hell!

But at least 28 millions of Soviets never saw a Victory over the Germans!

What is it a Victory for?

He was double lucky, that the Germans and Red Army punished him, but not killed!..

I was lucky, that he was been married after that war!

Grigoriy Burtayev.

To this war of every man , against every man, this also is consequent; that nothing can be unjust. The notions of right and wrong, justice and injustice have there no place. Where there is no common power, there is no law; where no law, no justice. Force, and fraud, are in war the two cardinal virtues. Justice, and injustice, are none of the faculties neither of the body, nor mind. If they were, they might be in a man that were alone in the world, as well as his senses, and passions. They are  qualities, that relate to men in society, not in solitude. It is consequent also to the same condition that there be no propriety, no dominion, no mine and thine distinct; but only that to be every man`s, that he can get; and for so long as he can keep it. PLAY CHESS
