Thanks, I do use the Tactics Trainer- I find though, that some puzzles are very easy and then the next more tricky - it's not consistently easy or more difficult or doesn't seem to have an order. Maybe it's me!:-)

Yes,I'm trying to play more games and observing others play too.

I suggest using the tactics trainer! That and playing more games will increase your abilities. Chess is all about experience.
