First Game with the French Defense

I started off playing the Caro-Kann in response to e4 as a way of avoiding 'theoretical' openings. I recently tried to switch to the Sicilian Dragon as a way of practicing attacking and middlegame tactics, as I felt the Caro-Kann generally involved a lot of early exchanges to lessen the pressure on a cramped position.

Just to try something different, I thought I'd play a game in the French, which I know basically nothing about. Here is my first attempt. I'm not sure how I feel about this compared to the Sicilian. It seems to be a blend of the Sicilian and Caro-Kann in terms of speed (not as slow as the Caro-Kann, not as fast as the Sicilian) and counterattacking chances (not as many as the Sicilian, but more than the Caro-Kann).

Please feel free to leave any comments or suggestions for improvement.
