Ok, I've never ever blogged anything before, so this is completely new to me, but so is hosting a chess tournament with 300 players from all over the world. I want to keep an ongoing blog on how the tournament is progressing. So apparently I post this as the starting point, and all updates are done by adding comments, right? And apparently everyone else may add comments as well, right? So this can be a big mass blog of everyone in the tournament, and their experiences, thoughts, views, etc., right? Cool! Let's do this.
Everyone is welcome to submit their impressions of this tournament, and feel free to color your commentary however you want ("Why so serious?"). I can't help but use MMA analogies in referring to tournaments (checkmates = knockouts; resignation = submission), but you can use whatever metaphors you want.
