A Bishop or a knight in endgames?

Usually bishops are better then knights in endgames, but once i've played a blitz when it was diffrent, the game got to the following position, and i was white:

What a nice multi-pawn endings.

Where did you hear that a bishop is usually better than a knight in the endgame? This is absolutely not true. A single knight is always much stronger than a single bishop in the endgame as it is not confined to one color.
