Does the title Grand Master carry the same weight today that it once did ? Some people say that the title has been diluted in recent years.

Why do they say that BruiserMac? Is it because there are more grandmasters now compared with before? But then by the same token, there are more chessplayers now than before, I think.

Whether the doctor title has been diluted in recent years? I only bark to chess, but the Grandmaster title more as whichever doctor title.
