movements

the rook is a cross

the bishop is an x

the queen is a starburst combination of the two

the three expand into infinity, harnessed with 8 x 8

the king is a box

the knight is a four sided octagon

the pawn is a forward line with a potential hyperbola/parabola motion

does anyone else feel like in some way we're all playing billiards with a constant maze of moving holes and restricted cue movements?

The rook is a pigeon
the King is a bag of rocks
The queen is a hurricane
the pawns are ambitious tourists
the knight has an attitude
the bishop thinks it is special but is misguided

we, the children of lesser gods, create ambivalence
and surge ahead knowing, not knowing
