For all of you King's Gambit Lovers here's a treat that will make you drool for days!!!!!!!!!! White's move 15 will blow you away!!! Spassky was brilliant in this game. It is exciting, powerful and original. I'd like to thank A. J. Goldsby for the great annotation.

Spassky was not unbeatable. I don't know his record, but he was no Kasparov.

Bronstein could have taken the knight with the bishop but then: 16. Qh7+ Kf8 17. Rfe1 Nxc5 18. Qh8+ Ke7 19. Rxe2+ Kd7 20. Rxe8 Qxe8 21. Qxe8+ Kxe8 22. dxc5 Bxc5+ is totally winning for white. So Brons tried to defend against the onslaught by protecting against a future mate which proved to be way to passive. Either way, taking the knight with the pawn was the best move, but it still loses too.

I would love to know, how many years it takes of playing, the some style over and over again to foresee something like that. I would love to beable to study this game and learn from it although i dont think it'll be much use to me :(
