was your friend white or black? white had a few trades early on that i personally thought could have gone a little better, and i think that ultimately set up the bad position in the end.. i don't have anythign to analyze the game with... but i was looking towards the end, wondering if not taking the bishop was a mistake...

i figured maybe there was a way to get a move that wasn't forced where black doesnt move their queen or rook into the back row.. it could have been an easy mate. i ran a few instances through my head trying to see how it would end up if white took the bishop... everytime it ended up looking like this (or uglier).

white was pretty much doomed either way, i guess.
