Pay to Play

So they finally went ahead and did what we all knew they had to. It'll be interesting to see how much bitching we're going to hear. This is one of the nicest chess websites on the net, and for 30 bucks a year, a steal. Ask yourself what you'd be paying to be on WOW right now... per month... after paying for the game itself. Less than the price of a large mocha latte per month to have access to all this. I hope people realize that and pony up.

Hopefully they'll continue to give great support and service. I was happy to send off my payment to support that. Support what you believe in folks.

I can see your point Toygas, but my hope is that if enough people do support it financially, there will be more and better extras added. Time will tell.

Thats very true Dan, and even if you don't pay, you still get to play. Thats pretty cool too! This is the best chess website I have played on, but do I really need to cough up £15 p.a. to see a pie chart remimding me how crap I am!
