Really? It snows here?

We made it and things are going well! We arrived just in time to witness a once-in-a-decade event: freak Texas snow. I haven't been more nervous driving in my life, nor have I seen so many wrecks along the highway. Apparently TDOT isn't prepared for any sort of heavy snowfall; no salt, deicer, not even any snowplows. Looks like my crazy Michigan driving techniques finally came in handy ;p
I'd like to say more, but I have an interview in an hour and I should probably spiff myself up and head out. Updates on the way :)
