We must abandon the unworkable notion that it is reprehensible for some countries to pursue weapons of mass destruction yet acceptable for others to rely on them for security — and indeed to continue to refine their capacities and postulate plans for their use.

Thank you for your comment ChessDweeb.  I changed my blog from Quotes to Statement since I deleted the word morally. Truly, it is much better this way.

Morals are relative to the society in which one lives. Morals do not transpose cultural boundaries in every case. Therefore, by using morals to preface an argument instantly negates everything that comes after such a claim.

Instead I would suggest that morals be removed from the statement alltogether and then we have a unilaterally accepted statement.
