Jim West Talks Chess: Caro-Kann Defense, Exchange Variation

My strategy as White in the exchange variation of the Caro-Kann is to allow Black to carry out successfully his minority attack on the queenside, even if I drop a pawn.  Meanwhile, I push my h-pawn forward to open up Black's castled position on the kingside.  In the following game, my plan was good for only a draw but an exciting one at that!
