Hello again, I am back to report on round 3 of the SPICE Cup!  Today's report will have to be brief as I am exhausted after playing in the SPICE Cup Open.  I actually had a very nice tournament result by tying for 3rd with 2.5 points out of 4. One of my winning games was against a Candidate Master!! The SPICE Cup Open is a really fun tournament because of the great competition. So, if you are anywhere near Lubbock next year at this time, I would suggest that you enter.

Now for the results:  IM Danny had another tough loss today vs GM Anatoly Bykhovsky.  IM Dean Ippolito (who is right on track for a GM norm) drew the leader of the B-group GM Gergely Antal in a super short, but exciting game.  FM Darwin Yang had his first win of the tourney over GM Ben Finegold!  Also, the new leader of the A-group, GM Wesley So, had a nice win over GM Ray Robson.  The rest of the results are posted below. Also, check out Chessdailynews.com for some really great pictures!
