Hey there! I thought why not give my 2ct's on this stuff Laughing .

The queen excursion that white undertakes in the diagram above is stretching it and therefore good for black, but you could choose to prevent it altoghether with 2. ..Nf6 instead of 2. ..Nc6. (board below). This is what I'd usually play against the Bishop's opening.


In the case of white playing 2. Qh5?! instead of 2. Bc4, you must play 2. ..Nc3 3. Bc4 g6 - transposing into the line given above by LOB.
