Amateur See-Saw

This is a game I played a few months ago and I think it stands as an example of how the outcome of an amateur chess game can never be certain.

42 Rd7 would of terminated the game pretty quickly. I think you are right that white's opening was pretty tame. Instead of 8...pxp would of played 8...Nc6 to see what he was going to do about Nd2. Think your play was pretty decent until blundered knight.

50.Qe5+ Qxe5 51.Nxe5 - "Indeed, this should be a winning endgame for white even with black's slightly more active king."

White played a key role in making his king even less active. 59.Kh4?!--how does this help White?? He needs to get to the d-file to penetrate. if he had played 59.Kg3 instead and the rest of the game went exactly the same way, White would have drawn or maybe won.

61.Nc8! - Yep, clean and simple.
