Submitted by Loraxwolfsbane on Thu, 05/08/2008 at 8:07am.

After losing 10 games I finally toppled the giant.

Would be great if I could some of you better players (which there are many) to help me out and analize this game for me.  I was Black

Excellent comments guy I appriciate them.  Gives me a couple things to think about.  I usually don't take my queen so aggressive usually, I was purposely trying that because it was different because my "normal" style of play hasn't been working maybe we could play a few games and then give me pointers to modify that.

Yes he did make many mistakes once my queen was exposed beacsue he could have trapped it better.

Good stuff guys thanks!

You brought your Queen out too early, that usually comes with risks of your Queen been constantly attacked or being trapped. That causes you to get behind in development because you have to make many Queen moves while your opponent develops quickly.

You managed the pressure on your Queen very well, it was an interesting game after all. Thanks for sharing it.

11... Nc6? You were down on development (a logical consequence of your pawn hunt with the queen) but the move should have been O-O. When you opponent is ahead of you in development, castling the king is the number one priority.

Other than that, you made no serious blunders, which is more then I can say for your opponent. He played terribly.

Pretty good for your level ;)
