Chess Club Blitz tourney

Last night I played in my chess club blitz tournament. see http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~mazzieri/chess/wgong.htm

I went alright. I finished with 4.5 points out of 11 rounds. I think I came 9/12 players. I got hammered in the first game I was really nervous and probably playing too fast. But I went pretty good from then on. And it was alot of fun and I really enjoyed it.

Congratulations Maxwell. I remember some of my first tournaments, very intense, and very fun. Although I'm not a big fan of blitz and don't think it's very good for your game. I play it occassionally to practice playing under time pressure, or to test my openings, but too much of it ruins you.
