Finally Breached the 1200 Mark!

OK, this might not be a big deal to most chess.com users, but after a year of playing and hanging around the 1000-1100 mark and hitting an all time low of about 870 I finally breached the 1200 mark! Yes I'm happy, not with the rating as such but with the fact that perseverance and effort through a little study and squaring up to better opponents has paid off!
What advice can I give based on this? Keep trying and never give up, I've learnt that chess is a game you just cannot master overnight and don't expect too much too soon with too little effort! With them two points in mind you will find chess a very enjoyable and rewarding game.
