My first 6 months at chess.com

Well, I must admit, although chess.com was only a year and a bit old when I signed up, it's the best chess website I've ever seen.

The only reason why I say this is because chess.com offers the core benefits (turn-based chess, live chess, puzzles, tactics, a great community) all from one website, and free.

Since I am, well, pretty new, to turn-based chess, the only annoying things about the site is the tournament games...you've finished, everyone is finished...except for this guy whose on vacation for 27 days and is not coming back.

chess.com has improved my chess game, thanks to the openings page, and the several discussions going on about the best strategies.

But what I've really been surprised about (and this is what makes all websites and computer games tick) is the community. And that's why I'm writing this...because the community is fantastic.
