that is the 2500 rating analysis. the free one (2100 rating) should not be allowed in chess. although it is rated 2100, it is like asking my friend couchpotatoe to analyze our games.

sollevy10, if that is the free chess.com evaluation computer, I've had similar issues with its analysis. In one of my blogs, I noticed it missed a forced mate in 5 and evaluated the winning position as not clearly winning. So there is much to be desired from using their free service.
i'm posting a recent game of mine with chess.com computer analysis. my opponent played an almost perfect game since the analysis agreed with all of his moves except for one in the last few moves when the game is already won (by me). On the other hand, the analysis declared 6 of my moves as inaccuracies, 1 blunder and 1 mistake. On the blunder move, 30.Ng3?? the computer analysis gave an evaluation of -2.14 from zero in previous move, and further dropped it to -2.42 after another bad move 31.g5!?, then -2.98 after my opponent played 31...hxg5. It is puzzling to see the evaluation becoming zero all of a sudden on my not so brilliant but just a forced move 32.fxg5, i.e., i equalized despite my blunder and inaccuracy and after making a forced move.
NimzoRoy
I was going to link the trailer but it's definitely not PG-13, if anyone is interested you can find it via Google or YouTube
NimzoRoy, I didn't know Nimzowitsch was related to Col. Khadafi. :-) it is either you are a comedian with your new avatar or you wanted to project a new image...one who works in a circus.
TwoMove
Yes, I just let the data hangout raw with no removing of forced moves, or anything. Also left in curiosities like Houdini liked 25 Nxb4 followed by Bd3, 0.02 better than 25Bd3 first. Think it basically means variations in second digit of evaluation meaningless.
sollevy10: I'll have Fritz 12 do an "infinite analysis" on the controversial move 42.Bc4 and see what it comes up with.
TwoMove thanks for posting the Houdini analysis.
Offhand it doesn't appear likely either side used a PC for assistance, or else one side would have won IMHO (unless both sides cheated, which again is unlikely IMHO)
I'm glad to see a lot of interest here in the post-mortem analysis, so I'll try to provide some after each TVC game I'm participating in finishes.
Now I have to go off and review a military parade in my cool new uniform.
twomove, it appears that white played Houdini's top recommendation 10 times out of 30 moves while black played 22 of 30. black definitely played a very good game. for us, 10 of 30 looks good statistically. however, after looking at those 10 moves, they were actually forced, recapture, or obviously the only move. at first i didn't like our 42Bc4 but since it was the suggested move of our friend here NimzoRoy, I just simply said "A". chesskebab says it was the losing move or the move that gave them their desired draw.
Have posted the raw data. Have posted Houdini's evaluation of move played, and its top evalution. If white or black has only one peice of data, it is because the move played is also Houdini's top evaluation. The bigest difference of a white move is 23e5 played, and Houdini recommendation of 23b4, difference 0.3. Biggest difference of a black move, 31...Rc8 played and 31...f3 recommended, difference 0.05. Black played top recommendation 22 times out of thirty moves. Of the remaining 8 choices, three had the same evaluation of top evalution, two a difference in evaluation of 0.01. So only three moves were distinct from top choice, and these less than 0.05.

I wonder if there is a way to send a TVC game for chess.com computer analysis? sollevy 10
YES - play it out move by move with someone in a turn-based chess game (unrated of course) and I guess a live game would work too and get input very quickly - but by 2 players of course
I don't think the chess.com analysis is any better than Fritz or Houdini, but it might be interesting to compare. They claim their PC is +2500 which is not stronger than Fritz or Houdini but aint chopped liver either as the old saying goes
Will produce a list with Houdini 1.5 top evaluation at 21ply for both sides, from point of first non database move. Also evaluation of move played at 21ply, if different. Can say staightaway there was no blunders by either side according to software. Maximum shift in evaluation between moves 0.3 or less.
chess_kebabs -you sound not too friendly like someone in the middle of some cheeks. i know where we made an error. i also would feel guilty or offended when my game is being labeled as engine-like. such insinuations are things that are better not talk about or excellent moves and games will no longer be appreciated. i don't think you used an engine in your games.
chess_kebabs
We were behind in a lot of that game til your team blundered... you should do the analysis so you can learn from your MISTAKE ;)
Your team blundered when you moved your LSB off the d file which was blocking our d file pawn and put it up as a +- Forced BxB trade.
sollevy10, your team blundered.. admit it :p

@TwoMove, please provide your full analysis, move by move, for both sides...
Tracked :)
P.S. we haven't won many games of late, drawn most and about to lose a game.. run your software on those too ;)
i joined this game from move 32.f3. i thought white had a definite winnable advantage. however, black played remarkably well and we could not progress. our strategy to trade the LSBs to weaken their 2Bs was not a wise decision afterall as it unblocked their d-pawn which gave us a lot of trouble leading to forced simplification of the position favoring their play for draw strategy. I'm curious how Houdini or Fritz would have played the game for a win.
