Pawns are the soul of chess!!
Interrobang
You made a few mistakes in the center: 4...Bd6? blocks your central pawn from advancing (d6 and Be7 would have been more harmonious), 19...d6! solves the g7 pin while bolstering your pawn structure. 6...Bg5 should also be mentioned because it allows the h-pawn advance, effectively closing off the diagonal that you later desperately want to deliver bishop checks from; since White could (and did) drive your bishop to f6, and since 7.h4 is far from a weakening move for White, the direct 6...Bf6 would have saved you a tempo. But, crucially, you also gave your opponent space to make his own bigger mistakes: 12.Nb5? concedes the b-pawn and the knight, 14.Nd5? saves the knight by hanging the rook (14.Rb1, Rd1), and then after flushing the king out, you played calm developing moves to attack with good piece coordination until you managed to get your opponent into a queen pin.You will win more games by playing sensible positional moves and keeping the board complicated until your opponent slips, then ruthlessly simplifying to magnify your advantage. As Tartakower said, chess is a game in which the winner is the player who makes the second-to-last mistake!
