Where did i go wrong..

since my vacation i play terrible.
dropped from 1170 to 1020 or so today.
the strange thing however in multiple games i play real good parts sometimes using advanced tactics striking at many places at once.
but just couldnt get the grip to it till the end.
Somehow the ending where all terrible.
This is just a sample of such a game as it happened many times..

maybe i better quit chess.

sadly yes i resigned because i thought it was all over, later at night i noted that K1 would have been enough to stop the advancing pawn :(

i think thats the point i loose my sharpness at about the endgame tactics.
I've loosed many of these type of games against much stronger people, having a weird (rare) opening, great midgame, and loosing in the endgame.

You played very well but move 43 seems like a mistake especially since you could've checked with Qd7. Also why did you quit? Ka1 stops the pawn and there's nothing black can do. You had this game! Maybe Spanish is scrambling your cabeza, amigo. :)

Did you go wrong here? Your game was very strong and you opened up a lot of good tactics against your opponent. And here, in spite of Black's pawn, White has a commanding material advantage, and should be fine after 44.Ka1! The black king is unsafe and his rook won't be able to hold the defense for long.

Did you resign here? When in doubt, fight it out! ;-)
