This is game of Russian Champioship under 20.It is was 1 round,my game with gm Andreikin. At the end of the game, I found a fantastic idea.
Kf4-Rg6,Kg4-Rg7,Kh5-Rh7+,Kg6-Rg7+,Kh6 and wins in the same result. The Gpawn pawn is the winning key for marching the KING first and followed by the G PAWN.No draw in this end game.
why not ?kf4! RXPAWN ,RXR-KXR,Kf5 and wins or Rg6-kg4,Rg7-Kh5,RXPAWN-RXR,KXR-Kh6 and wins, black cannot draw in this position....Check again sir pls
that's classical
22.Kf4-Rg7 23.Kg4-Rf7 24.Rf7-Kf7 25.Kh5-Kg7=
Today coach said me that after 17...Re2 18.g6 Kg6 19.f7 Kf5 20.f8(Q) black lose!!!So I choised one way to draw!
The winning streak for white is:
21. Kf4
22. Kg4
23. Kh5
24. Kg6
Black will be forced to trade his rook for a pawn and a rook but the other pawn can be easily promoted and ...
Immediately after the trade white has the chance to place his King in front of his
last pawn to prevent another draw.
If white doesn't trade rooks, he's forced to move his king away from protecting the c pawn. At some point, he'll have to push the b-pawn, and we'll either get a sequence like the one I posted or a draw by repetition.
i dont think so... actually white can win if he dont trade of his rook with black...
