ROBOT PLAYING CHESS

This Idea came to my mind just now , at this minute 1.30 pm GMT on 6 april 2008
that we should have a (chess) robot can move the peices and play as the human ,,
Imagine that ,, Do somebody know if it is available , Or it is new invention ,
I think japanese players can tell us about this !!
