It was called the italian trap, maybe because White opening is similar to Giouco Piano (the quiet game) opening.!!!

I never heard it called the Italian Trap. If someone used that term, maybe it's because the opening is the Italian Game.  This is usually called Blackburne's Shilling Gambit, named after Joseph Henry Blackburne, aka the Black Death, who constantly traveled thoughout England giving simuls and playing locals for a shilling a game. Although no games of his survive using this gambit, he reputedly used it so frequently that it gained that name.

I did it in one game. Didn't knew that it was called the Italian trap. Why Italian btw?
