    Vs.Cootae ...where the possibility of open g-file...castle kingside and then play for d6-d5 push while getting K to g8, R to g8 file to attack the king... Attack where you are stronger, capitalize your advantage and don't get distracted attacking what really does not matter...try to advance passed pawns to queen them... Rook against bishop try to have pawns on both sides of the board where rook is more mobile and can go back and forth better than the bishop...in the end push pawn, attacking the pinned pawn to the king...would have been a won game instead of draw...

    Also in the end game don't be afraid to move your pawns forward especially if they are passed and get your king moving to be part of the action as exposure is not as important as there are less pieces on the board...

    February 3 2012...Had a great lesson with Attila with themes regarding pushing pawns in the center, double attack and about trading your bad piece for your opponent's good piece...
