Sabur's Wing Opening

Submitted by Sabur on Sat, 01/24/2009 at 5:40pm.

This is an opening I've been working on for some time. I find its design and purpose suitable. My vision is stabilizing transition at the time its needed.

An interesting opening, however a better third move for black would be e6 --- I think h5 would be a fairly rare response....  But the first three moves are strong and seem a good attack on a Sicilian....

Many opponents have an opening that they like to use. This is one I developed for myself and is very useful in terms of transition (meaning) it provide options to make other moves to counter your opponent moves and still succeed at your goal. Try it for yourself.

Interesting. My problem is the opponent may not follow "your/our" opening.I've tried an opening similar vto this and have had mixed results to date.   Greg
