oh thanks for the reminder, i didn't realize the anniversary is upon us.  I think he was a great player, who could have done more for the game.  Sadly at the end of his life he became a rather pitiful eccentric who spewed anti semetic remarks, (incredible since his mother was Jewish)  His refusal to defend his title in 1975 was also tragic.  In many ways he reminds me of the main charater in the movie classic  "citizen Kane"  Oh Rosebud!!!
