As a man 47

As a man 47. My deeper thoughts are simply to the level of application for the real treasures in my daily life. Granted being not able to work for the past 4 yrs from a work injury. On top of that  is chronic pain.
So yes  we  must at some point take a deep hard long look in the mirror at ourselves as a people.
But first best is to just find the place where you can live with who you are now with every intention  for a growingly deeply value for your place and time as a individual..

Like me,

perhaps your craving still deeper  peace.
Knowledge isn’t  understanding, its knowing what to do when its time to act ..
There may never come a rational explanation for mans inhumanities to mankind.. But there can be self acceptance and that could be disseminated as we interact each day we walk on this big wet blue marble.
AS in our hearts as on the earth.. If we can't accept and love our diversity complexity and uniqueness  as a people what will be gained by maintaining fences/boarders in our minds..?

Hopefully of interest to you and your contributors.

"Linda Barrett Osbourne was born in New York City in 1949. She received a B.A. from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania in 1971.  Since then whe has been a researcher, writer, and a teacher.  She has conducted writin workshops in several parts of the United States and is in teaching children to write, as well as writing for them.   She is married and live in the United States."

When visiting my own country of birth and upbringing, i.e. Wales, Linda Osborne wrote her first book entitled "The Song of the Harp".  It comprises five stories of medieval Wales and they have all the elements of that good folk tales should possess: humnour; romance; sorcery; and valour.

Why do I pass on this information to your readers/writers.  Suggest that the answer could be found in obtaining a loan of "Son of the Harp. Old Welsh Folktales" from your lending libraries.  Enjoy the very quick read of the tales. Just 88 pages only, and see if the tales have any influence on your lives.

Also, thanks for beginning another match with me.  Good luck mate. Keep up your wonderful spirit.  It is a sinecure for life, that's for sure.

Jon,

I really enjoy playing with you and sharing with you.  I am a Christian whyo really loves playing chess and sharing with others.  I believe that the Bible teaches that there are levels of spiritual growth just as there are levels of chess knowledge.  Spiritual growth starts with our reaching out for God.  I found God in 1974 in the person of His Son Jesus Christ.  He has blessed me in countless ways and I have been overwhelmed by his love.  In 1999, God actually allowed me to travel to heaven, which increased my love for Him.

I hope that all who read this blog will seek God through the Bible.  I started with the gospel of John!

Love,  Sam

We both agreed, following your suggestion, to end our recently completed match, with a draw.  You perceived that the outcome could be laborious and  would inevitably in a draw possibly.  But I felt you had the better intellect in the match, and I promise to catch up with you again in the future, but not just yet if you will allow me time to recover.  Good luck. The lemonade is "in the fridge til we meet again"

Jon:  Good Stuff.    I hope you find your inner peace.   I bet chess brings you comfort , as you can still dominate there.  Chess is like life; and one can be dominante in both the game  and  and in life, despite having disabilites  and disadvantages.
