I will be adding a DGT board and overhead projector when the time is ripe ! Then I can show up on a sun. or thursday and have a projector (5,000 lumens) and use the DGT board - set - clock combo, to play over moves or let guests use it and broadcast their moves on the wall, like you see at national tournaments or in magazines. THAT is a HUGE draw card !! "other club...you been served". They can't stop the future, but they wish. It will be served "in spades" a dish best served cold...or was that ice cream LOL ? Maybe some people read something between the lines or into this, but an overactive imagination may explain their worries, if it is just their over active imagination.

I will try to be humble as I broadcast ChessBase magazine's video game commentary on the wall from a projector. It also lets you use a 3-D board in the projector. It allows you to use virtual reality sets/boards on the screen/wall "larger than life". You can make "Intro" vids for visitors to see. You can display books as pdf/djvu, and enlarge the text/fonts so people in a stadium could see it. Perfect for a fast food restaurant or mobile advertising. All you need is what I am buying called a "battery back up" that powers the projector, as the laptop battery runs for hours.

The Tech guys told me this lets me be off the property and yet, still broadcast onto sides of buildings. The police and DA (prosecutor office) said it's 100% legal to do it. "Call us if they bother you sir, and you are legally allowed to do it. A projector cannot block or obstruct traffic, but if you are on a public sidewalk, you can shine it on a building". After thought, you realize it is also how people put huge murals onto buildings. They use projectors in auditoriums, stadiums, convention centers, trade shows, even for tailgate parties. They tweet or msg and all meet somewhwere and showa movie on a wall. Great for mobile parties.

 I thought about picking surrounding buildings and enlarge it to the roof. I can show up minutes or hours ahead and change locations. It lets you sit in the store and see it on the back wall, and so visitors see it as they walk in. You can use the DGT board and a book on a split screen. Show a chess board on half the screen and an ebook pages on the other !

You can also just use the projector the same as most schools, colleges do; for teaching and flash or powerpoint lectures. I like the fact you can use it for game replay or to show engine analysis with multiple engines (MANY); or many merged annotations/annotators notes. You can show videos from wall to wall and 8ft high, or several stories high if you purchase an expensive high end projector. Some can diplay 5 stories high!! It is going to be great. I think martin and his club can still buy the more powerful 5,000 lumens projector for  $3,500.00.... NOT (LOL).
