Revised - first impressions

This is a great chess site packed with features, and there's something for everybody, from trainer to mentor, puzzles, articles, tips, all designed to make everyone play better. But it's not all sobriety, there's also levity, for lurking behind the dignified front of the game of kings is a whole comedy club.

Reading the forums can be a mad swing between the weighty and the wacky  - I've never seen the like before. These people are great players, they are great wits, and many are both.  Amazing place.

Really? And how do I go to cgs? As for your last statement, if it refers to me in any way, I was very lucky, due to carelessness on the part of my opponents rather than any brilliant play on my part. They are the better players, not me. You can see this for yourself; just click on the games. But remember, new to this site does not mean new to chess Smile.

The most amazing place is at "cgs" the Alphonso Gambit. But amazing is the game of some new chess-players.
