How many here prefer the wooden pieces to the plastic ones. The one chess set i own has wood pieces and i think they are great, but i am willing to be persuaded

wood pieces are natural and good for the eyes.

Quality wood is better than plastic, but either way, they have to be weighted. But people don't want to kill trees just to play chess--in that case, plastic is okay.

I think wood is better, they don't get mutilated easily
