I enjoyed this version, but once you have gotten used to Bette Midler's version, this is definately more uplifting.  I like your group.

Hmm.. very rousing song. I'm sorry but I prefer Bette Midler's version. She made it bitter-sweet and plaintive, with a world of grief in her tone. So fitting as part of the sound track for the film Beaches about two best friends, one of them dying. Midler was fantastic in that film.

I adore Bette Midler's version best but this one would be way cool for my jog/walks after a long day of teaching!
