Hey chess.com memeber,this my first ever blog here and was not sure what to write as many memebers have written so many different things on here and i have enjoyed reading them especially Bambi-ax-handle (hey bambi).
so i thought would write about my time here on chess.com.
I first decided to look for a chess site when i moved out with my girlfriends almost 6 months ago as i would have more time on a computer than sharing it with my family lol,I just typed in chess in a search engine and up popped chess.com.so i joined.
I thought wow straight away once i joined,i looked round the site reading peoples blogs and profiles and then i was hooked from day one. I couldnt believe there was a site like this for chess lovers as i gave it up when i got to secondary school which i regret as i played for my county and got into England squad,Thats another reason i went seeking for a chess site to get back in to it.
I started playing people on here and got even more hooked,i thought to myself,oh i miss playing chess alot, I won a few games at first then lost a few as you do,then started to realise i was more rusty then i thought as when go up against the big dogs, basic chess is not good enough and you have to plan more and think forward.
Then i realise that you can have a friend list and keep in touch easier with people on here.I have meet some interesting characters on here Bambi,wayne79,Aistrokatt just to name a few and im so glad ive made so many friends,got to send a special hello to lanesra my fello arsenal fan up the gunners,champions 2009 lol we hope,
So now im on here every day speeking to these people and playing them speaking about random stuff,which my girlfriend charlotte get annoyed with as she want there laptop to lol i had to buy her a nintendo wii so she had something do lol why i play.
Im now recieveing coaching from a coach call webgogs,amazing teacher and im enjoying his lessons,he has taught me alot in a short space time and told me my faults which is playing fast which common fault on most people and endgame,which i agree i see and opening and go for it but not always with a well thought out plan.
I have had some good time on here but one low which is being called a cheat for studying a book and then putting what i learnt into a game with someone and thrashed them and she said well done you out classed me which was nice but once i told her i had just read a chess book and used what i learnt in the game she called me a cheat i thought 
, i couldnt believe it i hadnt broke any rules i just wanted to improve my chess so she blocked me and we havent spoke since which disappointed me as i like her and thought she was a really nice lady and would like to still be friends so sally if you read this please can we be friends again :)
The highs out way the bad though,eric and his staff have made an amazing site and deserve credit thats why i purchased a gold membership if i could afford an upgrade i would, so well done chess.com you rock :)
this is me signing off as i have run out off things to say which is unlike me lol which my friends would be shocked lol so one last thing i hope to be on this site for a long time will look forward to playing new people so peace out
