Computer Analysis Blunder?

In an effort to improve my chess I have been trying to use the "computer analysis" tool chess.com provides.  It can be difficult to go through all the lines, but in general I have found the time I spend analyzing my blitz games with the computer guiding me to be helpful to my game.  However, in a recent game I was going over, I noticed a small inaccuracy (as Sam Shankland might put it) in the computers evaluation of a position.

See if you can calculate deeper than chess.com's analysis computer.

Don't feel bad if you couldn't figure it out.  After all you were playing against a computer.

yeah I was figuring something along the same lines...to be blind past "x" number of moves (forfeiting such an easy mate as well) seems rather silly to me though.  I assumed that a computer they employed to help me analyze my games wouldn't lead me astray or make ANY mistakes (let alone obvious ones).  I still feel that using computer analysis on chess.com can be helpful, but this has greaty diminished my confidence in it and I will be very skeptical of it in the future.

Sarcasm aside, I'm really confused about how it could miss this.  Can someone explain?
