Rome: Total Chess?

In Rome: Total War, you have a certain amount of points to spend on an army.

I've been wondering - if the king is infinite, and the other pieces add up to 39 (Rooks 5x2=10, bishops 2x3=6, 2 knights=6 and 8 pawns, plus a queen=9),

Then I wonder what the optimal selection would be if you had 39 points to spend, and could have placement anywhere in your half of the board.

You had to have your king on there by the way. Might be interesting, because then people would have to design their opening lines as well as a counterplay right from the word go.

Haha, yes I thought about that too. Ok, maybe change the conditions a bit. You can only have up to 16 pieces on the board, but they can be put anywhere in your half.
