My next tournament

Submitted by YelenaDembo on Sat, 07/21/2007 at 7:59am.

Hi everyone, I have decided not to start any more games in th near future because I am going to play in a very strong Kavala Open tournament (http://www.chesskavala.gr/open/announce.html ) in 2 weeks and I need to start preparing! So please, dont be angry at me for this:-)) I will gladly start new games when I come back!

Well I guess the tournament is over but the results aren't yet published. Neither could we saw your game online. I guess I have to ask for the complete PGNs.. :)

Anyway, was nice watching the games and wish you best luck for the next one!

It's easy for us to watch it on a diagram over the net, comfortably sat on our computer chair and relaxed... You must be there to play the game. It must feel like when you go on stage. I have some little experience with that, and I can tell you, skills are not enough. You have to have guts!

No, it's really annoying... You just have to be prepared for the page to refresh and quickly go to your game...

Yeah, she just resigned... It looked fine to me for a moment, I thought she could have won this one. Anyway it was a nice game.

shadowc, I have been watching from around move 25. Now it's move 41. and it looks a little tough for White to me. She is a hard fighter though.

Is there a way to stop the page from auto-refreshing, or make it refresh to her game? Or you have to let it refresh and then click her game each time to see the most recent move(s)?

Man, I got up so late today!! I was exhausted after a whole week of hard work. I just got up to see the Queen's exchange which greatly benefited Yelena... Let's see the outcome.

Thanks:-) Although my opponent is only a WIM (Women's International Master), not a GM (men's Grandmaster), she has beaten a few strong people here. The game should be interesting again:-) And whoever wants, can log on to www.chessgames.com and see my previous games against her:-)
