Well, I'm finally back from my little vacations... I've seen you and your husband have had good games. Let's see what today has to offer.

By the way I've lost to erik :-D. I made a premature attack and he did a great defense.

Well, a draw and a loss today. I haven't seen them live because I had some friends come over to my house today. And tomorrow we celebrate my mother's birthday so I won't be around. Good luck to both!! See you monday!

It this very moment, erik is playing king's indian against me... Let's see the outcome!

Talking about lack of theory, this game was hilaious...

Yes, I'd love to see the theory... I won't argue with you in that, I know what theory is in programming and in music (essential!).

But don't challenge me too much or I'll study 25 moves of each variation... Tongue out

Theory at least a little is always important. Because when you play a decent opponent, 1600-1900 and more, it is better not to get a worse position from the start as it will be difficult to equalize. It is possible to just study some theory of main lines and general plans and ideas in other variations. Of course, it is not necessary to study that much theory as 20 moves on this level:-)

well..., I always drop the openings book after move 4... Tongue out (I like to throw it at my opponent's teeth, thus my aggressive style of play)

Either it will be extremely easy or extremely exciting, heheh.

Now, being serious for a second: Don't worry, next month there will be time and money to take those lessons. I haven't forgotten...

:-)) Study the theory first please:-) At least the first 20 moves in most lines:-))

I like playing vs 1.d4 very much because I usually play the King's Indian against it:-) I am well prepared and get good positions but there is really a lot of work behind it:-)

Well, today Yelena just won a pretty amazing game against 2354 rated Zawadzka Jolanta, while Sotirios Drew quite easily against the much better ranked Morchiashvili Bachana (2415). Congratulations to both!

For AsisRed News, Matias Jose reporting. Tongue out
