Another successful tournament victory!

Submitted by Zenchess on Sat Apr 12, 2008 10:32pm.

Wow is all I have to say.  I won another local tournament 4-0 to win a $123 prize (it was split for a first place tie and we both got $123).  I played 3 lower-rated players, the highest being a 1600.  However, they were pretty good.... Read more »

Submitted by Zenchess on Thu Apr 10, 2008 12:21pm.

Dogmatism in chess

Submitted by Zenchess on Fri Feb 29, 2008 8:34am.

Today I would like to talk about a topic that I think is really important for any chess player to consider.  It goes far beyond chess.      Dogmatic thinking in chess goes way back.  For the most obvious e... Read more »
