jake234 was my first opponent here in chess.com.. my father's comment?? wwwhhhaaahhh!! my game sucks!!!!!! lol.. ^_^ that is what i'm really expecting from him to say.. ^_^ i tried to beat the player as fast as i can though sacrificing 2 officials but the round table turned and i lose my concentration at the end.. lol.. but it was gentle from my opponent not seeing that he could have beaten me earlier with his bishop.. that's been a kind of him.. lol..

what i have learned for that fight??

1. build your defenses and don't waste any of your officials again.. lol

2. have patience and don't hurry up.. coz the game i'm playing is chess and not a marathon.. lol

3. just enjoy the game and learn from your mistakes..

4. never give up and still aim the battle with my father (that would come one day..) ..hahahaha!!

yeah.. i agree.. just what my father kept on telling me.. my patience will be well developed by playing chess.. moreover, i wouldn't learn that much if i won't play regularly.. to see my mistakes is one of the steps in climbing the ladder and he said that it would be normal to be beaten.. thanks for the compliments Dr Batata!! ^_^

u jst remind me of me and my father.. when i started playing chess (too young actually) dad kept beating me over and over.. and over and over again.. this was the case for years!! cos i didnt know anything abt- say- chess theory. the whole thing, however, has changed after i started playing on regular basis and bought some chess book and read it.. soon I started defeating him and we ended up with me winning almost all the matches so that we r avoiding playing each other since then! cos the end will nt b happy for him (which will make mine unhappy either ;)

Bottom line is that if u have the determination and enthusiasm and u practice chess the right way, u will b able nt to get ur father once as u r wishing bt maybe beating him always..

beating jack234 is jst a good start!  so Congrats!! and good luck :)
