Scholar's Mate

Don't you think its werid if people fall for scholar's mate. You would have to be a serious beginner to fall for. I even heard at the nationals people fall for it. Now isn't that sad. Hopefully, people will grow out of it. If you don't know what I mean here it is.

Here is a video I found pretty strange.

All it takes to stop this attack is paying attention. Pushing a pawn or knight will stop the scholars mate cold.

There's a distinct difference between fool's mate and scholar's mate. Fool's mate is a two move checkmate, while scholar's mate is a four-move checkmate.

Also known as 'Fool's Mate'. I once fell for this after I knew about it (still embarasses me to this day). I've tried it a few times and you'd be surprised how many don't see it.
