Dealing with Colle, London and Barry after 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 d5: Repertoire Preparation

I would love to play Benko Gambit after 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4, but White does not play 2.c4 always. He often opts for 2.Nf3. I am thinking of replying 2.d5 and deal with the openings that arise from there.

This of course includes a large number of annoying openings such as Colle, London, Torre, Veresov. Against all of them, I intend to play ...g6, ...c5, ..Nc6, ..Qb6 and equalize.

Game 1: Bareev - Judit Polgar

Game 2: Minzer - Dreev

Game 3: Juegel - Horvath

Game 4: Zichichi - Lalic

Game 5: Hebden - Palliser

Yes, I should have looked at your games with more attention Smile

Transposing into the Maroczy is a good option. Thanks for your reply !

    1. I am looking at playing 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 d5 ... in the games above, the players started with 2...g6, but eventually played ..d5.

    2. At the moment, I am happy to play the sicilian accelerated dragon or maroczy bind against White's transposition to sicilian ... get the DVD by Tiviakov ... maroczy is nothing to be afraid of. You almost have a guaranteed draw.

How do you deal with the move-order 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 g6 3.c4 c5 4.Nc3 - I understand you don't want to enter a Sicilian by cxd4, but white is threatening to play e4 next Frown

This is not meant as a trick question : I'm currently making some adjustments to my repertoire, and your approach is one of the options I was looking at.
