Beginning Again

No diagram. No move list. Just the comment that it's been ages since I've played much chess, and whenever I do play it seems I always get distracted by trying to study chess rather than just playing chess. So here I am trying out chess.com.

I signed up a while back, but finally got a friend to join too. I've just started a game with him. Didn't feel like starting with a complete stranger at first. But the goal is just to play some games. Not too many, but some games. I know the site offers much more than that, but that's where I intend to keep it for now. If the playing goes well and I'm enjoying myself then I will look beyond.

 That's it for now.

go at your own pace, my man. hopefully, you won't turn into some (read;me), who can't get enough, and play 15 games at a time. it sometimes gets tough, because you have to understand that everyone has a life to tend to outside of this site. so, often you find yourself starting new games just so you can play right then, waiting on your other opponents to return. ah, well, i digress. if you ever want a game at a fast pace, look me up... by the way, welcome! =)
