Windmills aren't found on every street corner. The existing windmills of old are rare and exquisite treasures. The windmills of chess are just as rare and even more exquisite.  Not all windmills are the same though they invoke similar ideas. Some games (not shown here) use windmills of only a couple moves or simply the threat of a windmill. Other games sacrifice the Queen and more to set up a windmill. They are indeed treacherous things.
