A Study in Stalemate

Submitted by benws on Sun, 10/25/2009 at 5:10pm.

There hasn't been much to discuss around here lately. I have noticed a new box when you try to edit an article that says "Publish Date." Does anyone know what this feature does? And does anyone know what the "Main Image" thing when you submit a post does (I can't get it to work)?

Oh, and you guys need to give Apple some time regarding the app. They're just trying to be thorough...what's wrong with that? Besides, I doubt that the chess.com app is the only one they have to look at. Be patient.

Windows 7 is out. It amazes me how many people will pay $200 just to get rid of Vista. But then again... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6qIETRCxbw) And then again... (http://www.apple.com/getamac/ads/)

But of course, this blog post is about chess. Stalemate, to be more specific. I recently got a new chess book with some pretty nice examples of this important theme. Let's take a look at why it's important to hang on sometimes.
