Coup de Grace

Alekhine is at his best in this game, as he anchors pieces on strong squares, seizes open files, doubles his rooks on the 7th rank, and especially shows just how active a king can get. If there are combinations to be found, then Alekhine will find them.

alekhine was absolutely the best chess player in his prime. I would not hesitate to match him up with any of the other great ones considered in these last 3 centuries. his understanding of the game was unparalleled, evident in the many games he annotated for the community.

Lovely. Pin your opponent into small  uncoordinated spaces then go in for the KILL!  Thats chess for fun and for blood!
