This game between Spassky and Kholmov is a highly interesting one. Early on, Spassky makes the suicidal-looking decision to sacrifice a whole rook for apparently nothing, and then trades down into an endgame. However, as it transpires, his passed pawns are enough to split the point.

i ran it through rybka,  it ended with a draw

Be great if someone ran the endposition through Rybka or similar; like Ninjabear, looks to me White has lots of chances to fully justify that extraordinary R sac.

Why was a drawn agreed? Looking at this I thought white had a chance after move 41. I mean... the board still looks flammable!
