The Big Explosion

David Bronstein is credited by many with making the King's Indian Defence famous. In the Prague tournament of 1946, he created two "twin" games from which "modern chess began." See if you can spot the similarities.

Powerful use of the Queen, Bishop, and Pawn in the 1st game.

A testament to the two Knights for the 2nd game.

I love watching his style...extremely imaginative...he is like art over the board...Thanks for the great games.  I love the way he converts 1. c4 e5 into a King's Indian setup, and I appreciate his ideas with exd and Nc5 and Qb6 with a5 and a4...very cool!
