well played Tom ... i have played as black QGD and drew ..... you've got to play the position carefully which you did and you were rarely in trouble throughout the whole game

Yes, knight for with king and queen, ask Pete about it, his defence afterwards could've got him a draw, but he got into a zugzwang in the middle game!

Laughing Before this game, their bd 1 (who beat Pete after Pete BLUNDERED HIS QUEEN!!!) was making jokes about us youngsters, and the second Pete mentioned my form, he was silent :D

I understand why you didn't take 6. ... Bxd3 since the queen gets off the back rank, but comparing that with your "bad" bishop (sure it's outside the pawns after e6, but still) with his good bishop seems like it might be a good idea?  Edit:  I see you've already written that!

Tom... Really...  I'll bet M Orr thought playing against an 85 would be a straightforward win and yet he was on the back foot for most of that game!  You're really on top form, well done!
